Being home buyers for the first time, we were not really sure how to go about the entire process right from shortlisting to closing the apartment. We met Michael through a friend's reference and he was kind enough to show us multiple apartments based on our requirements and preferred geography.
Michael was responsive to our requests to show the apartment before closing, as we wanted to give the contractor an idea of what renovations required to be done. Also, if he was unavailable he made sure to send out another agent to take care of our requests.
The most positive thing about Michael is that he has excellent negotiation skills, and he was kind enough to help us negotiate a few issues in the condo pending with the seller.
We really appreciate the services of Michael and we would be happy to recommend him for future references as well.

I was a first time homebuyer moving to Chicago for a new job and was extremely fortunate to have found Michael to be my agent. Michael is very easy and pleasant to talk to and displays great knowledge about market in the downtown Loop area.
Michael also has a strong work ethic: he responds to my text messages always within 10 minutes -- even on weekends, for questions big and small. He was also easily available to chat over the phone, and I enjoyed him taking a lot of time to show me many different places.

Michael was great to have by our side for the purchase of our first home. He's easily accessible and made the process easier to navigate. Throughout the nearly 3 dozen homes he showed us, Michael was informative and transparent with his suggestions, while making it fun. In what little time he wasn't able to meet up with us, he had his equally professional partner, Ben, help us out. Together, they are a great team and Michael took the time to understand what we wanted in a property, so our long journey of hunting wasn't nearly as fatiguing as it should've been.
When we finally visited our perfect place, we immediately placed an offer and were greeted with a multiple offer situation, which horrified us. But, Michael's recommended conditions in our offer helped us to win out in the competitive West Town neighborhood and ultimately brought us to closing!
